George Olesen

Co-founder, CEO

George trained as an engineer at Durham University before joining Amazon Web Services after graduating. He’s passionate about helping young people make more informed and confident decisions about their future and sees a massive opportunity for technology to improve the status quo. When starting the company, George lived on a houseboat for a year floating around the canals of north London; happily, he’s back on dry land now.

Nik Higgins

Co-founder, Partnerships

Before founding Tap with George and Dom, Nik worked in further education, managing careers teams and helping young people make the transition to university. He’s a advisor for a number of educational and social impact charities and likes running. Nik read English Language and Literature at St. Edmund Hall, University of Oxford, and Contemporary Literature, Culture, and Theory at King’s College London.

Dominic O'Neill

Co-founder, Product

Dom started his career early, working as a designer and developer in his teens. He since consulted with major brands in marketing and communications. He spent several years travelling and working in international schools and education agencies, and founded a feedback analytics start-up before joining Tap with George and Nik. Dom read Languages and Linguistics at UCL and has studied in Amsterdam and Moscow, where he was also a teacher.

Georgina Munn

Customer Success Manager

A former Student Ambassador and active member of the community, Georgina loved her time at university: so much so that she almost never left! She joined Tap after completing her masters in order to help others on their journey into higher education. Georgina read English Literature at the University of East Anglia, and Eighteenth Century Studies at King’s College, University of London.

Rebecca Longhurst

Marketing and Social Media Officer

During her time at university, Rebecca was a Student Ambassador, Widening Participation tutor and Digital Guru, where she created content for the university’s social media channels. She has spoken at conferences on the importance of content and social media in higher education marketing. Rebecca read English Language and Linguistics at University of Sussex.

Nick Golding

Head of Strategic Development

Before joining Tap, Nick was CEO and Founder of the highly-successful Cambridge Education Group, a company specialising in the recruitment and preparation of international students. He is also a mentor, angel investor, and fanatical Suede fan. Nick read Law at Magdalene College, Cambridge.
